The Hunting Console Detail oak

Here is a quick shot of one of my latest commissions on delivery in NY. It is a hand forged bronze table with cast bronze figures and feet, with glass insert on top. The patron wanted a whimsical fox hunt with a design reminiscent of Alberto Giacometti's linear bronze tables, and an oak tree on top. The dimensions are 36 inches tall, 68 inches long, by 16 inches wide. It was a challenge to weld each cast figure onto the table due to their small sizes. Overall I loved making this piece, and hope to do more whimsical stuff in the future. Details to follow.
